Its journey from kitchen to FMCG :-  cardamom is a spice native to India. It have been used in kitchen and Ayurvedic medicines from ancient times.But nowadays use of cardamom is expended worldwide.Its journey starts from house kitchen to various market products like as a flavoring agent in sweets, coldrinks,ice creams,chocolate,biscuits,chips, cookies and  medicines. Keeping in view the huge demand and benefits of cardamom, one song comes into my mind sung by diler mehndi- “HAR TRAF TERA JALWA”.

(1) Regular use We can use one or two cardamom daily in tea or coffee.

(2)  Powder dose-250-300 mg can be taken with honey.

(3) Chew 1 or 2 cardamom seeds daily  in order to remove the bad breath.

CARDAMOM HERBAL TEA

Ingredients Required

(1) 1 gram cardamom seeds 

(2)  1 gram cinnamon powder

(3)  2 gram coriander seeds

(4)  5-7 pieces of raisin

(5) one and half cup water

Now make tea with all these ingredients. Sieve it in a cup and add sugar or honey as per your taste

BOWEL REGULATION FORMULA FOR CONSTIPATION

Ingredients required for  per 60 gram 

(1) Isabgol husk – 30 gram.

(2) Licorice root powder 10 gram.

(3)  crushed fennel seeds-15 gram

(4) crushed cardamom seeds 5 gram

 – mix all these ingredients 

DOSE-  Take one teaspoon before going to sleep at night with lukewarm milk.

DIABETES – PUNISHMENT BY NATURE

Today is the world diabetes day ….In my opinion diabetes is a punishment given by god{nature} to humans for their wrong eating habits and lifestyle. 

The number of people with diabetes has risen from 108 million in 1980 to 422 million in 2014 (1). The global prevalence of diabetes among adults over 18 years of age has risen from 4.7% in 1980 to 8.5% in 2014 (1). … In 2015, an estimated 1.6 million deaths were directly caused by diabetes.
Diabetes is a disease which is caused due to the pancreatic disorder in which pancreas is not able to produce enough insulin. It is characterized by  the access amount of urination.

CAUSES-

  • Pancreatic disorder
  • Bad eating habits 
  • Unhealthy lifestyle
  • Lack of exercise 
  • Adrenal gland weakness 
  • Genetic factors 

SYMPTOMS-

  • Excess urination with high glucose content
  • Excessive thirst feeling
  • Feeling Weakness  
  • Reduced healing power 

HOW TO CURE-

  1. FOOD- First step that should be taken  is that we should stop eating  junk food
  2. Use simple sugar instead of complex sugar because simple sugars require much less insulin.
  3. DAILY EXERCISE -Do Exercises like yoga and walking{walking is very beneficial}.

1} BITTER GOURD{kARELA}-

  • Very useful herb for curing diabetes.
  • It has anti-diabetic properties and contains three active substances-charantin, which has been confirmed to have a blood glucose lowering effect, vicine and an insulin-like compound known as polypeptide-p.These substances either work individually or together to help reduce blood sugar levels

HOW TO USE BITTER GOURD-

  1. Drink fresh bitter gourd juice.
  2. Eat it as a vegetable.
  3. Use its dry powder

2} ALOEVERA-  It is also very useful in type 2 diabetes

  • It is antiseptic, antibacterial, laxative bitter tonic 
  • It has healing properties also

HOW TO USE IT-

  • Used as a juice or gel

3)TURMERIC-

  • Very beneficial in improving digestion.
  • Promotes healing
  • Anti -inflammatory properties
  • Beneficial effect on the GI-tract
  • curcumin in this spice which help to regulate insulin in the body, control and balance blood sugar and triglyceride levels

HOW TO USE-

  • Take 1/4 spoon of turmeric powder and mix it with milk and then drink this.

4)FENUGREEK

  • Excellent herb for diabetes 
  • Helps to regulate sugar level and insulin level
  • Helps to dissolve cholesterol and other lipids

IMPROVE YOUR DIGESTION WITH HERBAL SOUP

SOUP
Digestion is the first action to cure our body. The process in the alimentary canal by which food is broken up physically, as by the action of the teeth, and chemically, as by the action of enzymes, and converted into a substance suitable for absorption and assimilation into the body is called digestion. When the food we eat is not properly digested , many types of diseases are caused like constipation,gastric problems and many other.
My favourite soup formula that i want to share with you is as follows –
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED-

  • 2 cup water
  • 1 medium sized chopped tomato
  • 1/2 medium sized chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • PLEASE USE STAINLESS STEEL COOKING POT

PROCEDURE-
Place all the ingredients except coriander leaves in the pot and boil them on a low temperature for about 20 minutes and sieve it.
Add coriander leaves after sieving it
Add black salt or other salt as per your taste and choice
IN CASE OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE USE LEMON JUICE IN PLACE OF SALT
In my opinion oil should not be used for cooking soup as oil has higher boiling point. Cooking on very high temperature destroys all the nutrients .
Another thing i want to say is that you should not always give preference to your taste , give preference to your health.

  • 2   table spoon fuller’s earth [ multani mitti] 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon dry rose petal powder
